Semgrep MCP Marketplace

This repo is where the Semgrep Plugin Marketplace (semgrep) and the Semgrep Plugin (semgrep@semgrep-marketplace) live.

To use the Semgrep plugin:

1. Start a Claude Code instance by running:

   claude
   

2. Add the Semgrep marketplace by running the following command in Claude:

   /plugin marketplace add semgrep/mcp-marketplace
   

3. Install the plugin from the marketplace:

   /plugin install semgrep@semgrep-marketplace
   

4. If it is installed, see if you can run the /semgrep:setup-semgrep-plugin command. If you cannot run the command, try restarting your claude instance by exiting out of the current session and re-running:

   claude
   

5. If it still doesn't work, try enabling the plugin:

   /plugin enable semgrep@semgrep-marketplace
   

Contributing

This plugin is managed by the mcp-marketplace-template repository. Changes should be made there and synced via automated PRs.
