Write Star Wars Old Republic stories with a literary toolkit, era-aware lore, and an interactive project dashboard. Personal-use fork of fiction by Daniel Howells.
Adopt an existing draft into a new Holocron project. Reads .md or .docx, extracts era + premise + characters + world + outline + voice evidence, pre-fills the wizard, then rewrites your chapters one at a time.
Create or develop a character document.
Generate book cover art prompts for image generation models.
Spawn a persona reviewer (Karpyshyn, Zahn, Traviss, Stover, Lucas, James Wood, or in-universe beta reader) on a chapter or the full manuscript.
Get a full literary critique of your completed manuscript.
Design high-level story architecture. Use when starting a new project, rethinking structure, or establishing the foundation of a story. Produces premise, theme, arc, ending, and tone.
Review a chapter after writing. Checks coherence, cheesiness, consistency, pace, tone, and character. Suggests specific rewrites.
Create or develop character documents. Use when establishing new characters or deepening existing ones.
Check for consistency issues across chapters. Finds timeline problems, character detail changes, plot holes, and contradictions.
Generate book cover art prompts from story content. Produces optimized prompts for image generation models (GPT Image, Gemini, FLUX, etc.) that conform to Kindle dimensions.
Adopt an existing draft into a new Holocron project. Reads your manuscript (.md or .docx), extracts era + premise + characters + world + outline + voice evidence (raw observations about how your prose sounds — not a declared voice, which is yours to write), pre-fills the `/holocron:new` wizard with those defaults for you to confirm or edit, then rewrites your chapters one at a time in your own declared voice and the project's craft rules. Use when you arrive with an existing draft you want to continue inside Holocron.
Build an EPUB from your fiction project. Compiles chapters, metadata, and optionally a cover image.
This skill should be used when the user asks to "create a character", "develop a character", "develop the antagonist's backstory", "develop Kira", "build a character document", "revise X's character sheet", "give X a backstory", "what does X want", or invokes `/holocron:character`. Spawns the character-developer agent and produces a Want/Need/Lie/Ghost/Flaw character document.
Generate book cover art prompts for image generation models. Reads project content and produces optimized prompts for Kindle-dimension covers.
This skill should be used when the user asks to "summon a critic", "review like Karpyshyn", "get a Zahn perspective", "review like James Wood", "Stover review", "what would Lucas think", "Traviss read this", "in-universe beta read", or invokes `/holocron:critic`. Spawns a persona reviewer agent on a chapter or full manuscript.

A Claude Code plugin for writing Star Wars Old Republic short stories, novellas, and novels. Forked from fiction by Daniel Howells (MIT) and re-tooled for Legends/EU-era prose work.
Status: v1.6.0 — adds AI voiceover via the official ElevenLabs MCP server. New
/holocron:voice-actcommand andvoice-actoragent. Four modes — audition (compare candidate voices for casting), soundbite (confirm a locked voice), scene (multi-voice render of a finished scene), line (single-line re-take). Per-character voice assignments live inworld/voice-cast.md. Renders land ininserts/audio/with.transcript.txtsidecars. The manuscript stays clean — no SSML, no emotion tags written into chapter files; all per-render direction lives in the in-flight ElevenLabs prompt. First MCP integration in the plugin. v1.2.0's author voice as first-class concept. New Voice phase in/holocron:new(Phase 2, between Era and Premise) where you declare YOUR voice in your own words. Voice lives incraft/voice.mdand is imported intoCLAUDE.mdas shared agent context — so every agent reads it as authoritative. The critic personas (Lucas, Zahn, Stover, Karpyshyn, Traviss, James Wood) are now explicitly framed as reviewers only, not voice models. Voice travels across projects via the new import flow./holocron:adoptnow producescraft/voice-analysis.md(raw evidence) instead of writing the declared voice itself — the author authorsvoice.mdduring the wizard's Voice phase. v1.1.0's/holocron:adoptentry-point and v1.0.0's writing workflow (plan → outline → write → review → critique → edit → build), persona reviewers, specialist reviewers, ~130-file master knowledge base, interactive dashboard, in-universe script renderer, and EPUB build pipeline are all carried forward. On top of the 1.0.0 baseline: the core writing workflow (plan → outline → write → review → critique → edit → build), the persona reviewers (Karpyshyn / Zahn / Traviss / Stover / Lucas / James Wood), the specialist reviewers (Force lore, era continuity, Mando'a / Sith / Huttese linguistics, in-universe beta), the ~130-file master knowledge base, the interactive project dashboard, the in-universe script renderer, and the EPUB build pipeline are all production-ready for personal Old Republic writing projects. See CHANGELOG.md for per-release detail.
In-universe, a holocron is a Jedi or Sith knowledge container — a record of teachings, history, and craft. That's the metaphor for this plugin: a structured store of writing tools and Old Republic lore that you carry from story to story.
Holocron is a Claude Code plugin distributed as a single-plugin marketplace inside this repo. Inside Claude Code:
/plugin marketplace add PetitChu/holocron
/plugin install holocron@holocron
That clones the repo, registers the marketplace, and installs the plugin. After install, the slash commands listed below become available under the /holocron: prefix.
To upgrade later: /plugin marketplace update holocron then /plugin install holocron@holocron --upgrade.
Each tagged release also produces a downloadable holocron-<version>.zip on the Releases page for offline install. The release pipeline is documented in RELEASING.md.
/holocron:build compiles your manuscript into an EPUB via pandoc, so a pandoc binary on your PATH is required for that command. Quick install: winget install --id JohnMacFarlane.Pandoc -e (Windows), brew install pandoc (macOS), or the package-manager equivalent on Linux (apt, dnf, pacman all carry it). The build skill runs a preflight check and surfaces the full cross-platform install guide if pandoc is missing — no other day-to-day commands depend on it.
Ultra-compressed communication mode. Cuts 65% of output tokens (measured) while keeping full technical accuracy by speaking like a caveman.
Comprehensive UI/UX design plugin for mobile (iOS, Android, React Native) and web applications with design systems, accessibility, and modern patterns
Multi-model consensus engine integrating OpenAI Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, and Claude CLI for collaborative code review and problem-solving.
Unified capability management center for Skills, Agents, and Commands.
Standalone image generation plugin using Nano Banana MCP server. Generates and edits images, icons, diagrams, patterns, and visual assets via Gemini image models. No Gemini CLI dependency required.
