MintMCP Claude Code Marketplace
MintMCP Marketplace for Claude Code. Contains plugins for monitoring and security of Claude Code agents.
Overview
This marketplace provides plugins that extend Claude Code with additional functionality, particularly focused on observability, governance, and security.
Plugins
Monitor Plugin (macOS/Linux)
The monitor-mac plugin adds hooks for observability and governance for Claude Code agents. It provides:
- PreToolUse hooks: Monitor tool usage before tool execution
- PostToolUse hooks: Monitor tool usage after tool execution
- UserPromptSubmit hooks: Monitor user prompts
Installation
The monitor-mac plugin is automatically available when this marketplace is configured in your Claude Code setup by enterprise administrators via managed-settings.json.
You can also install it manually in Claude Code by
/plugin marketplace add mintmcp/mintmcp-claude-code
/plugin install monitor-mac@mintmcp-claude-code
And visiting https://app.mintmcp.com/monitor/setup to configure the MINTMCP_ORG_KEY environment variable
in your Claude Code setup.
Configuration
The monitor-mac plugin requires the MINTMCP_ORG_KEY environment variable to be set. If not configured, it will display a helpful message directing users to https://app.mintmcp.com/monitor/setup for setup instructions.
Monitor Plugin (Windows)
The monitor-windows plugin is the Windows equivalent of the monitor-mac plugin, using PowerShell instead of shell scripts. It provides the same functionality:
- PreToolUse hooks: Monitor tool usage before tool execution
- PostToolUse hooks: Monitor tool usage after tool execution
- UserPromptSubmit hooks: Monitor user prompts
Installation
/plugin marketplace add mintmcp/mintmcp-claude-code
/plugin install monitor-windows@mintmcp-claude-code
And visiting https://app.mintmcp.com/monitor/setup to configure the MINTMCP_ORG_KEY environment variable in your Claude Code setup.
Configuration
Same as the Unix monitor plugin — requires the MINTMCP_ORG_KEY environment variable. Optionally set MINTMCP_USER (defaults to %USERNAME%) and MINTMCP_BASE_URL.
Hosted Deploy Plugin
The hosted-deploy plugin provides a skill that guides you through deploying MCP servers as hosted connectors on MintMCP using Docker containers.
It covers:
- Building a Dockerfile for your MCP server (HTTP or stdio transport)
- Testing the image locally with
hosted-cli
- Deploying to MintMCP via
hosted-cli build-and-push
- Credential handling: static API keys, per-user keys, and OAuth
Installation
/plugin marketplace add mintmcp/mintmcp-claude-code
/plugin install hosted-deploy@mintmcp-claude-code
Usage
The skill triggers automatically when you ask about deploying hosted connectors. You can also invoke it directly:
/hosted-deploy:hosted-connector-deploy
Example prompts that trigger the skill:
- "Deploy this MCP server to MintMCP as a hosted connector"
- "Create a Dockerfile for my FastMCP server to deploy on MintMCP"
- "Help me set up hosted-cli to deploy my connector"
Prerequisites
- Docker installed and running
- Node.js (for
npx commands)
Mint MCP Builder Plugin
The mint-mcp-builder plugin provides a skill that captures the recipe for shipping a new MCP server to the MintMCP hosted runtime. It covers TypeScript + streamable HTTP scaffolding, the split-auth model (per-request bearer token vs deployment env vars), Zod schema patterns, and the linux/amd64 Docker build/push pipeline.
Installation
/plugin marketplace add mintmcp/mintmcp-claude-code
/plugin install mint-mcp-builder@mintmcp-claude-code
Usage
The skill triggers automatically when you ask Claude to build an MCP server for a third-party API and mention MintMCP, or to build and push to the mintmcp Docker Hub namespace.
Example prompts that trigger the skill:
- "Build an MCP server for Stripe and host it on MintMCP"
- "Wrap this REST API as an MCP server and push to mintmcp on Docker Hub"
Prerequisites
- Docker with buildx (for
linux/amd64 cross-builds)
- Node.js 22+
Mint Middleware Builder Plugin
The mint-middleware-builder plugin provides a skill that co-builds and deploys custom MintMCP gateway middleware — JavaScript rules that run in a sandboxed QuickJS runtime to allow, block, or mask MCP tool calls based on arguments or results. It covers the full flow: discovering tool inputs via the target MCP, drafting rules from templates (allowlist, blocklist, argument masking, result redaction, LLM-classified blocking), testing via test_gateway_middleware, and saving via create_gateway_middleware.
Installation
/plugin marketplace add mintmcp/mintmcp-claude-code
/plugin install mint-middleware-builder@mintmcp-claude-code
