Region-specific consumer shopping primitives — find products, compare local vendors, check availability, and generate ranked purchase recommendations. Ships variant scaffolds per supported region (Israel to start) and a provisioning skill for fresh shopping workspaces.
npx claudepluginhub danielrosehill/claude-code-plugins --plugin shoppingIngest a new catalog screenshot or product listing into the workspace dataset.
Extract structured product/price data from catalog screenshots into products.json.
Check per-vendor stock and delivery-time for a given SKU.
Side-by-side comparison of a known SKU across the workspace's configured vendors.
Side-by-side comparison of 2-4 specific products with regional sourcing notes.
Quick one-off evaluation of a single product against the current Israeli purchase spec
Find a product across the vendors configured for this workspace's region and return a ranked price table.
Build or refresh the per-purchase spec.md through a guided intake conversation.
Pull standing shopping preferences (region, channel tolerances, trusted brands, markup threshold) from Mem0 into the current workspace's spec.md.
Generate the ranked recommendation report (Typst PDF) from spec + catalogs.
Re-run shortlist + sourcing against the current spec and write a new dated recommendations file
Persist standing shopping preferences to Mem0 (or a local fallback file) so every future shopping workspace can load them.
Evaluate candidate products against the spec on product merit only. Outputs a CONSIDER list before sourcing.
Update spec.md with an addition, edit, or removal — diff-only response
Claude Code plugin for region-specific consumer shopping — find local products, compare vendors, check availability, and generate ranked purchase recommendations against a personal spec. Distinct from the generic purchasing plugin: this one is tuned to local retail quirks (language, VAT, regional pricing aggregators, parallel-import conventions).
Generic commands (/shopping:*):
find-product — locate a product across configured vendors, return a ranked price tablecompare-vendors — side-by-side comparison of a known SKU across storescheck-availability — per-vendor stock and delivery-time checkintake — turn an informal product brief into a structured spec.mdrecommend — read the workspace spec + catalog data and emit a ranked recommendation (Typst PDF)add-product — ingest a new catalog screenshot / listing into the workspace datasetcatalog-to-json — extract structured product/price data from catalog screenshotscompare — targeted comparison of specific products across all stores in scopeIsrael-region commands have moved to the israel-skills plugin. Install it alongside shopping for IL-specific retail discovery (Zap, KSP/Ivory/Bug/TMS, Hebrew term resolution, ILS currency, etc.).
/shopping:new-workspace <name> [--variant=israel|generic] [--local-only] [--private]Scaffolds a new shopping workspace (spec template, catalogs dir, outputs dir, region data), personalises CLAUDE.md from ~/.claude/CLAUDE.md, and (by default) creates a public GitHub repo.
Primitives live in the plugin → globally available from any cwd.
Workspace scaffolds are provisioned as data → no .claude/ tree inside provisioned workspaces.
Plugin updates never touch your workspace data.
See PLAN.md in Claude-Workspace-Reshaping-190426 for the full pattern spec this plugin follows.
israel — full Israeli scaffold: Hebrew term resolution hints, Zap-first discovery order, VAT/Eilat pricing rules, store categories, catalog folders tuned for IL retailers (ksp/, ivory/, bug/, ali/).generic — region-agnostic scaffold for a future region. Start here when the target market doesn't yet have a dedicated variant; fill in retailer list + currency + tax rules under data/.More region variants will land under template/<region>/ as the shopping plugin grows.
