Manage box maps — track which items are in which physical boxes (or rooms / shelves / storage units) so the user can find things without opening every box. Reads/writes the box and location fields on items in inventory/master.json and produces a per-box manifest, plus a reverse "where is X" lookup.

Identify duplicate or near-duplicate items in the workspace inventory — exact name matches, fuzzy name matches, and functional duplicates (multiple kettles, multiple HDMI cables of the same length). Outputs a grouped duplicates report and recommends which to keep based on condition and value.

Generate a printable / portable action list as CSV and optionally PDF — throw-out lists, donation pickup lists, resale queues, insurance schedules, or box labels. Pulls from analysis/* reports already produced by the other skills, and renders via Typst (preferred) or pandoc fallback. The user walks through the house with the printout and ticks items off.

Generate a deliberately over-the-top, hype-y social media post for an item the user is giving away or selling — Buy Nothing groups, Facebook Marketplace, Freecycle, Olio, Yad2 freebies. Treats every item like a flagship product launch. Tongue-in-cheek by default; can be dialled down to "just enthusiastic" if the user wants to actually use the post.

Identify items worth donating rather than discarding, and for each one suggest specific donation organizations near the user that would actually benefit from it. Geo-aware — reads geography from workspace.json and proposes locally relevant charities, shelters, refugee aid groups, schools, religious organizations, repair cafes, and freecycle networks.

Identify items in the inventory worth selling rather than discarding or donating. Estimates resale value, suggests the right marketplace per item (geo-aware — e.g. Yad2/Facebook Marketplace IL for Israel, eBay/Craigslist/FB for US, Gumtree/eBay for UK), flags effort vs. payoff, and produces a prioritized sale list.

Import a possession/household inventory from any format the user supplies — CSV, Excel, JSON, Markdown table, free-text bullet list, photo of a handwritten list, or a folder of mixed files — and normalize it into the workspace's canonical item schema. Preserves the original in imports/ verbatim, then appends to inventory/master.json with stable IDs and de-duped headers.

Initialize a Declutter Genie inventory workspace at a user-chosen path. Sets up the canonical folder layout (inventory, imports, analysis, box-maps, outputs), writes a starter config (geography, currency, household name), and stores a pointer in $CLAUDE_USER_DATA so other skills can find it. Run this once before any other Declutter Genie skill.

Analyze the workspace inventory and recommend items that are strong candidates for being thrown away or recycled — broken, obsolete, low-value, redundant, or expired. Produces a ranked discard list with reasoning per item, written to analysis/discards.md, and offers to feed it into generate-action-list.

Identify high-value items in the inventory that should be itemized on a home contents insurance policy, and help assign or refine valuations. Flags items above a configurable threshold, items with no value yet assigned, and items that may need professional appraisal (jewelry, art, collectibles). Outputs an insurance schedule ready to share with an insurer.
