Decompose technologies, market signals, or global events into 6 structured layers of business insights using Socratic questioning, generating value chain diagrams, mindmaps, research notes, and PDFs. Autonomously discover Indian proxy companies across value chains. Manage research libraries, domain knowledge, watchlists with monitoring alerts, and integrate personal sources like Notion, Drive, Gmail, Jira for compliant analysis.
npx claudepluginhub ameya85/curiosity-stack --plugin curiosity-stackStart a guided layer-by-layer decomposition of any technology or market signal.
Find Indian companies at each layer of any global value chain. Runs the india-proxy-agent autonomously — fetches NASSCOM Deep Tech, DPIIT, GeM portal, 12 VC portfolios, BSE SME, NSE Emerge, and specialist publications. Returns a structured HTML research table.
Open your Domain Knowledge manager — browse, add, edit, and remove seeded company intelligence used by the India Proxy Agent
Browse, search, and manage your saved decompositions
Browse the Curiosity Stack scenario library — 18 pre-built decomposition topics across 6 categories
Autonomous agent that finds Indian companies at each layer of any global value chain. Activates when user says "find India proxies", "what Indian companies play here", "India angle", or after L5 in any decomposition. Also activates on /curiosity-stack:india-proxy. Runs fully autonomously — no further input needed after triggering.
Autonomous agent for watchlist monitoring. Activates when Cowork is opened and watchlist cadence has elapsed. Runs research across all watchlist items, checks trigger conditions, compiles digest, and delivers via Gmail. Uses web_search and web_fetch tools. Do not activate if cadence has not elapsed — check local.md first.
Fires when user says hello, hi, help, get started, what can you do, how does this work, or sends any vague first message. Also fires when curiosity-stack.local.md is unconfigured. Orients the user instantly using plain text + a small inline copy-ready topic list. Never generates a full artifact on welcome — too slow.
Activate on first use or when user says "setup", "configure", "connect my notes", "link my drive", "how do I connect", or on first session with no prior configuration. Also reads curiosity-stack.local.md if it exists — skip steps already answered there.
Activate when user wants to find actual companies in a value chain layer, especially Indian proxies for global themes. Always check connected sources first. Always apply SEBI compliance — research framing only.
The core 6-layer decomposition framework. Activates when a user describes any topic, technology, market signal, or global event. Also activates when a scenario card is clicked via sendPrompt, or when /curiosity-stack:decompose is run. Guides the user through L0 to L6 using Socratic conversation — one layer at a time.
Activate after every completed decomposition to offer saving. Activate when user says "save this", "add to library", "show my library", "what have I researched", "past decompositions", "have I done this before", or starts a decomposition on a topic that may already exist in the library. Always check library/ folder silently at the start of any new decomposition.
Manages the user's personal domain knowledge registry — company intelligence seeded per sector that the India Proxy Agent uses before searching. Activates when user runs /curiosity-stack:knowledge, says "manage my domain knowledge", "add company to my knowledge", or clicks the "missed company" add form after an India Proxy Agent run. Also activates after any India Proxy Agent output to surface the inline add prompt.

"The intent is not to reach the end of the process but to go through the process itself."
A plugin that decodes any technology or market signal into 2nd and 3rd order business insights — using layer-by-layer question sequencing that takes you from noise to structured understanding.
Not a stock tips tool. Not a recommendation engine. A rigorous thinking partner for people who want to understand deeply before they decide anything.
| Layer | Question | What You Find |
|---|---|---|
| L0 | What's the signal? | Why this matters now |
| L1 | What is it really? | Actual mechanics, not headlines |
| L2 | What causes it? | The root cause tree |
| L3 | What fixes it? | Solution categories = industries |
| L4 | What does it require? | Inputs, infrastructure, talent |
| L5 | Who does this work? | Named companies — global + India |
| L6 | Research landscape | How the space is typically accessed |
Install → Open Cowork → Welcome message fires automatically → Run /curiosity-stack:setup (2 minutes, once) → Describe any topic in plain language → Walk 6 layers → Choose output → Done.
From the second session onwards: just describe a topic. The plugin reads your saved context silently and begins.
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/curiosity-stack:setup | First-time setup — connect sources, set context, configure monitoring |
/curiosity-stack:decompose | Guided layer-by-layer decomposition |
/curiosity-stack:india-proxy | Autonomous agent — finds Indian equivalents of any global company or theme |
/curiosity-stack:stress-test | Thesis stress test — proponents, critics, core assumptions, failure modes |
/curiosity-stack:library | Browse, search, and manage your decomposition library |
/curiosity-stack:watchlist | Manage watchlist topics, triggers, cadence, and digest settings |
You choose your output format — then get:
.md document, professional research brief formatEvery completed session can be saved locally to the library/ folder. Optionally mirrored to Google Drive or Notion for backup and cross-device access.
What's saved: topic, date, all 6 layer summaries, sources cited, tags (sector, geography, stage), conviction placeholder.
Retrieval: when you start a new decomposition, the plugin checks your library for past sessions on the same topic and asks if you want to load it — saving you ground you've already covered.
Layer delta: revisit a topic months later and the plugin compares the new decomposition against your saved one — showing exactly what changed at each layer.
Monitor any topic within its value chain — automatically, on your schedule.
Tracker mode — runs on your set cadence (daily / weekly / fortnightly). Covers everything on your watchlist. Maps findings to the value chain layer they affect. Scores materiality HIGH / MEDIUM / LOW with reasoning. Delivers a structured digest to your Gmail automatically, with a Cowork link to go deeper.
Trigger mode — set a specific condition per topic per layer: "Alert me when something changes at Layer 4 of EV batteries" The agent checks that condition each run and fires only when met — flagged as 🚨 in your digest.
Signal types monitored: news, regulatory changes, new entrants, funding rounds.
Configure via /curiosity-stack:watchlist or during setup.
A personal source registry that builds over time.
After each session, rate the sources used (30–60 seconds, max 3 per session). Over time the plugin learns which publications, databases, and analysts work best for you by sector and layer.
At Layer 1 and Layer 5 of every decomposition, your top-rated sources are surfaced automatically — so you spend less time searching and more time reading the right things.
After 5+ decompositions, the plugin suggests ratings based on your usage patterns. You confirm or override.
/curiosity-stack:india-proxy is a fully autonomous research agent, not a prompt.
You give it a global company or theme. It independently:
