This repo is a learning experiment by Steven Li based on itsinseong/value-for-fable.

It is not affiliated with the original project. It records one day's experiment with the codebase.

What's different from upstream

• Added bench/bench_common.py with two functions (load_json, get_answer) and the exclusion list constant GL_EXCLUSION. These replace the duplicated logic in the three bench scripts.
• Refactored the three bench scripts: each now wraps its logic in a main() function and imports load_json and GL_EXCLUSION from bench_common. The script body runs only when executed directly.
• Added tests/test_bench.py with unit tests for the common functions, using mock data and temporary files. No external dependencies.
• Added tests/__init__.py to make tests/ a package.
• Updated .gitignore to exclude __pycache__/ and .pytest_cache/.

7 files touched. About 150 lines added, 100 lines refactored.

Status

This repo is not maintained. Issues filed here will not be addressed. If you want the maintained version of the project, use the upstream repo.
