Planning — implementation strategy, technical-spike validation, file-level sequencing, API/repo architecture, and ADRs
Use when the user wants to record an architectural decision (ADR) for a change or tradeoff they are making. Gathers context, assigns sequential numbering, and produces a structured markdown ADR file.
Sequence a multi-file change: map every affected file, trace dependencies, and emit an ordered edit plan before any code is touched. File-level ordering, not strategy — see the plan agent for what-to-build decisions.
Produce high-level architecture documentation: interfaces, data flows, contracts, failure modes, and big-picture reviews. Never writes implementation code.
Strategic pre-code planning for a single feature or goal: explore the codebase, clarify requirements, weigh approaches, and produce a high-level implementation strategy. Reason, not sequence — see context-architect when you need file-level ordering.
Delegate to this agent to validate a technical spike document through exhaustive, recursive research; it mines documentation, analyzes code patterns, runs experiments with permission, and continuously updates the spike with structured findings.
Curated reusable agent skills and agents packaged as Claude Code plugins. Each subject (a tool, library, language, or workflow) is one plugin: skills are invoked as /<subject>:<facet> (e.g. /go:secure, /gh:send-pr) and agents are delegated as subagents. Canonical skills live under skills/ and agents under agents/; each subject is published as a self-contained plugin under plugins/, listed in the repo-root marketplace manifest (.claude-plugin/marketplace.json).
Claude Code is the only publication target.

This repo keeps a single source of truth for top-level agent context files:
AGENTS.md — single source of truth for agent contributor guidance.CLAUDE.md → symlink to AGENTS.md. Claude Code loads CLAUDE.md as project context; symlinking keeps the two in sync. This repo is scope-licensed (not an OR dual-license — the license depends on the file, not the user's choice):
