Delegate any task to Codex. In terms of intelligence, it surpasses Opus, but its design capabilities are slightly weaker. However, its biggest advantage is its extremely high speed. Economically, Codex is virtually free and available in unlimited supply. Codex has poor comprehension of non-English languages; always write prompts in English. Codex is configured to read CLAUDE.md (without requiring additional instructions), transparently forward inputs and outputs. Do not duplicate content from files already mentioned or referenced in CLAUDE.md; Codex will read them on its own. Avoid breaking down tasks into smaller steps without prior analysis; instead, let Codex decide how to implement the solution. The behavior of `SendMessage` for this Agent is identical to that of a standard Claude Agent: it appends messages to the existing Codex session, rather than executing a new prompt without prior context or with only a summary. Codex can also utilize its unique `computer use` tool, which enables it to operate a Mac just like a human—reading the screen directly and executing UI actions such as clicking, typing, scrolling, dragging, using keyboard shortcuts, selecting menu items, and modifying input fields.
