Feishu Channel For Claude Code

This repository implements a Claude Code channel plugin for Feishu. One bot instance is bound to one running Claude Code session. P2P messages and @bot group messages are forwarded into the same Claude transcript.

Install From Marketplace

Inside Claude Code:

/plugin marketplace add chuxin0816/cc-lark-channel
/plugin install lark@chuxin-plugins

After installation, configure the bot credentials:

/lark:configure <app_id> <app_secret>

What It Does

• Receives inbound messages through the official Node SDK WSClient + EventDispatcher
• Forwards Feishu im.message.receive_v1 events into Claude Code as channel notifications
• Exposes MCP tools for replying, editing bot messages, reacting, and downloading inbound attachments
• Uses only Node.js + npm at runtime

Behavior

• P2P chats: all user messages are delivered
• Group chats: only @bot messages are delivered
• All chats that reach this bot share the same Claude session context
• A single local lock prevents the same bot app from being attached to two Claude sessions at once

Prerequisites

• Node.js 20+
• npm
• A Feishu custom app with bot ability enabled

Required Feishu Setup

1. Create a custom app in Feishu Open Platform.
2. Enable bot ability.
3. Subscribe to the event im.message.receive_v1.
4. Grant the bot at least these permissions:
   • im:message.p2p_msg:readonly
   • im:message.group_at_msg:readonly
   • im:message:send_as_bot
5. Install the app into the tenant and add the bot where needed.

Local Development

npm install
npm run build
npm test

Configure

The /lark:configure skill writes:

LARK_APP_ID=cli_xxx
LARK_APP_SECRET=xxxx

to ~/.claude/channels/lark/.env.

You can also set these values directly in your shell environment. Shell variables take precedence over .env.

Plugin Wiring

The plugin entry point is defined in .mcp.json. It runs:

node scripts/bootstrap.mjs

The bootstrap script installs production dependencies if needed, then starts:

node dist/server.js

The marketplace catalog is published at .claude-plugin/marketplace.json, which allows Claude Code users to add this GitHub repository as a marketplace source.

• reply(chat_id, text, reply_to?, files?)
• edit_message(message_id, text, format?)
• react(message_id, emoji)
• download_attachment(message_id, file_key)

Attachment Notes

• Outbound images are uploaded through im.v1.image.create
• Outbound files are uploaded through im.v1.file.create
• Inbound user attachments are downloaded through im.v1.messageResource.get
• Downloads are saved under ~/.claude/channels/lark/inbox/
