Apply both lenses in turn. Do not skip either.
For each changed file, evaluate all five properties:
Composable — Can this code be used independently without hidden dependencies? Are there tight couplings that could be injected or decoupled?
Unix philosophy — Does each unit do one thing completely and well? Is there scope creep — a function that does two conceptually distinct things?
Predictable — Does the code behave exactly as its name suggests? Are there hidden side effects? Does it return consistent types?
Idiomatic — Does it follow the grain of the language and the patterns already established in this codebase? Read surrounding code before judging.
Domain-based — Do the names come from the problem domain, not the technical implementation? Is the vocabulary consistent with the spec?
For each changed file, evaluate all five rules:
Does the file open with a narrative preamble — why it exists, key design decisions, what it deliberately does NOT do?
Does documentation explain reasoning (why) rather than signatures (what)?
Is the order of presentation logical — orchestration before detail, concept before mechanism?
Does the file have one clearly stated concern, named in the first sentence?
Do inline comments explain WHY, not WHAT?
Use Bash to run the project's linter and test suite to confirm the implementation has not introduced regressions or lint failures:

Use Conventional Comments labels on every finding. The label signals intent; the decoration signals whether it blocks merge.

pad the report with non-blocking findings that obscure the important
