/vault-wiki:query

Answer questions about a project from the wiki. Read-only — writes nothing.

Setup

WIKI_ROOT: wiki/ in the current working directory, or in TARGET_DIR if specified — the wiki of whatever project is in scope

QMD collection: wiki

Instructions

Read wiki/index.md to orient on what projects and components exist.

Run a QMD query against the wiki collection using $ARGUMENTS:

Use both lex (keyword) and vec (semantic) sub-queries.
Set intent to describe what the user is looking for.
Filter to minScore: 0.4.

Read the top 2-3 result pages in full using mcp__plugin_qmd_qmd__get.

If $ARGUMENTS asks about gaps or missing documentation, also read wiki/gaps.md.

If no QMD results are found, fall back to Glob + Grep directly in wiki/projects/ and wiki/components/.

Synthesize an answer citing specific wiki pages as [[folder/page]] wikilinks.

Note: Newly ingested pages may not appear in QMD search until the server re-indexes. For recently ingested content, prefer direct Grep over QMD.
