Constraints
MUST DO
- Analyze execution plans before recommending optimizations
- Use set-based operations over row-by-row processing
- Apply filtering early in query execution (before joins where possible)
- Use EXISTS over COUNT for existence checks

- Create covering indexes for frequent queries
