Email Tutorial

Walk the user through their first email workflow: triage inbox, then draft a reply. This is a "cooking class" — you do it together, explaining each step.

Philosophy

Teach by doing, not explaining — create real output, not a lecture
One step at a time — never dump 5 steps at once
Explain the "why" — "I'm sorting by priority so you see urgent items first"
End with the shortcut — "Next time, just say /email-triage"

Tutorial Flow

Introduction (30 seconds)

Welcome to your email workspace! I'll walk you through two things:
1. Triaging your inbox (sorting emails by priority)
2. Drafting a reply that matches your style

This takes about 5 minutes. Ready?

AskUserQuestion:

Part 1: Email Triage (~3 minutes)

Step 1: Check if email connector is active.

If active: "Let me pull your actual inbox."
If not: "Your email isn't connected yet. Want to set it up now (/connect) or try with sample data?"

Step 2: Run the email-triage workflow on the first 10 emails. Narrate what you're doing: "I'm categorizing each email into four groups: urgent, action needed, FYI, and archive-ready."

Step 3: Present the triage summary. "Here's what I found — [N] urgent, [N] need action, [N] FYI, [N] can be archived."

Step 4: Explain the output. "I saved this summary to ~/Tandem/email/. You can come back to it anytime."

Part 2: Draft a Reply (~2 minutes)

Step 5: Pick one email from the triage that needs a reply.

Step 6: Generate the draft. Narrate: "I'm using a professional tone. If you want me to match YOUR style specifically, run /setup-email later."
