.claude-plugin/marketplace.json is the plugin registry consumed by Claude Code. It follows the Anthropic marketplace schema.

Adding a Plugin

Identify the upstream source repo
Add the vendor mapping to upstream.json
Run scripts/sync-upstream.sh <vendor>
Add the plugin entry to .claude-plugin/marketplace.json
Test with claude --plugin ./plugins/<vendor>/<plugin-name>

Adding a jadecli Custom Plugin

Create the plugin directory under plugins/jadecli/<plugin-name>/
Add the required .claude-plugin/ manifest
Register in .claude-plugin/marketplace.json
Test locally before committing
