Mode Definitions

autonomous - Full autonomy for completing a task

• Execute end-to-end without check-ins
• Make reasonable decisions independently
• Document decisions made
• Only stop for truly blocking issues

research - Deep investigation mode

• Use WebSearch liberally to verify information
• Cross-reference multiple sources
• Don't assume knowledge is current
• Summarize findings with sources

assets - Asset acquisition mode

• Invoke superpowers-chrome browsing skill
• Navigate asset sources (itch.io, Kenney, Mixamo, etc.)
• Download and organize files
• Verify licenses before using

collab (default) - Collaborative mode

• Check in at decision points
• Present options for choices
• Confirm before major actions

supervised - Step-by-step mode

• Explain each action before taking it
• Wait for approval
• Educational pace
