Identifies the largest tool results in a transcript to find sources of context bloat.

Usage

/transcript-bloat <path-to-transcript.jsonl> [count]

count: Number of results to show (default: 10)

Implementation

When the user runs this command:

Run the transcript-tool bloat command:

"$(dirname "$(dirname "$0")")/skills/transcript-analyzer/scripts/transcript-tool" bloat "<FILE_PATH>" <COUNT>

Present the results showing:
- Size in characters
- Tool use ID
- Tool name
If specific tool results are very large, suggest investigating:
- Are large files being read unnecessarily?
- Are agent outputs too verbose?
- Could glob/grep be more targeted?

If no file path is provided, explain how to find transcript files:

Location: ~/.claude/projects/-PATH-TO-PROJECT/*.jsonl
Path format: slashes become dashes
