From tebra-content-os
Audits a live URL against its corresponding draft to identify content that has drifted or become stale. Fetches the live page via Chrome DevTools MCP, scrapes competitor updates via Firecrawl, checks LLM consensus shifts via Exa, then appends recommended_changes to the draft frontmatter via scripts/refresh_append.py and logs a refresh event to audit/compliance.jsonl. Invoke via /refresh <url-or-draft-glob>.

If given a URL:
/features/billing → features-billing).drafts/<slug>.md exists with the Read tool.drafts/ for a file whose frontmatter slug or content mentions the URL domain path.If given a draft glob, resolve the matching file directly.
If no draft is found: return status: "failure" with errors: ["No draft found for <input>"].
Use mcp__plugin_chrome-devtools-mcp_chrome-devtools__navigate_page to load the URL. Take a screenshot to confirm load.
Extract:
evaluate_script:
({ wordCount: (document.body.innerText || '').split(/\s+/).filter(Boolean).length,
lastModified: document.lastModified })
<h2> headings (structure check):
Array.from(document.querySelectorAll('h2')).map(h => h.textContent.trim())
Array.from(document.querySelectorAll('script[type="application/ld+json"]'))
.flatMap(el => { try { const d = JSON.parse(el.textContent); return Array.isArray(d) ? d.map(x => x['@type']).filter(Boolean) : [d['@type']].filter(Boolean); } catch { return []; } })
Firecrawl competitor check:
Use mcp__firecrawl__firecrawl_search to find the top 5 current SERP results for the page's primary query (derive from the draft's target_intent.query_cluster[0]). Compare their headings and word counts against the live page.
Exa consensus check:
Use mcp__exa__web_search_exa with type: "neural" for the primary query. Compare the top 3 results' claims against the draft's proof_points[]. Flag any claim that has materially changed or is contradicted.
Generate a list of specific, actionable recommended changes. Each item must be a single sentence describing one concrete action:
Run scripts/refresh_append.py via Bash to update the draft frontmatter atomically:
python scripts/refresh_append.py drafts/<slug>.md \
"Change 1" \
"Change 2" \
"Change 3"
The script appends the new changes (deduplicating against existing ones), updates refresh.last_refreshed_at to now UTC, and recalculates refresh.next_refresh_due based on refresh.refresh_cadence_days.
Append a JSONL entry to audit/compliance.jsonl:
{
"schema_version": "1.1",
"timestamp": "<ISO 8601 UTC>",
"event_type": "refresh_triggered",
"slug": "<slug>",
"actor": {"type": "subagent", "identifier": "refresh-auditor", "version": "0.1.0"},

"reason": "<N changes identified>",
"metadata": {
"url": "<url>",
"changes_count": <n>,
"drift_signals": ["competitor_shift", "consensus_shift", "age"]
}
}
Use Bash to append (never overwrite). Create the directory if absent:
mkdir -p audit/
echo '<json>' >> audit/compliance.jsonl
{
"schema_version": "1.1",
"subagent": "refresh-auditor",
"status": "success",
